2024年11月5日，举世瞩目的第7届中国国际进口博览会在上海隆重开幕。
自2018年首届进博会举办以来，环太平洋律师协会第30届会长、金茂凯德所创始合伙人李志强等律师入选上海市律师协会进博会法律服务志愿团，连续7年参与进博会法律服务保障工作。
2024年11月6日，李志强律师第七年走进进博会，碧空如洗的蓝天，熟悉温馨的场景，川流不息的人群，多种语言交织辉映的热情，令人流连忘返。前来巡馆的朱忠明等市领导和李志强亲切握手，令人记忆深刻。
七年共成长，服务无止境
2018年11月5日至10日，举世瞩目的首届中国国际进口博览会在上海隆重举行，作为当年中国四场主场外交的收官之作，开放、创新、包容的进博会吸引了五大洲知名企业的目光。
习近平主席在首届进博会开幕式主旨演讲中开宗明义讲到：中国国际进口博览会，是迄今为止世界上第一个以进口为主题的国际级展会，是国际贸易发展史上一大创举。举办中国国际进口博览会，是中国着眼于推动新一轮高水平对外开放作出的重大决策，是中国主动向世界开放市场的重大举措。这体现了中国支持多边贸易体制、推动发展自由贸易的一贯立场，是中国推动建设开放型世界经济、支持经济全球化的实际行动。
首届进博会上，习主席宣布：将增设中国上海自由贸易试验区的新片区；将在上海证券交易所设立科创板并试点注册制；将支持长江三角洲区域一体化发展并上升为国家战略。
受益进博会，金茂凯德律所首批在临港新片区开设同城分所，为一批科创企业登陆科创板提供支持，参与长三角一体化建设的法治实践，助力长三角金融法治论坛连续成功举办三届，一批法治理论和实践成果出炉，受到各方面的赞誉。

回眸七年路，法治永相伴
自首届进博会举办以来，金茂凯德李志强、沈琴、欧龙、游广、杨子安等律师奔波在进博会内外，洽谈会、研讨会，结交五洲商贾，传播中国法律，释放中国律师服务开放型经济和“一带一路”建设的正能量。
第二届进博会期间，金茂凯德律师受邀参加2019年上海城市推介大会，时任市委书记李强和时任市长应勇登台亲自推介上海。李强同志还和李志强律师亲切交谈。时任司法部副部长刘振宇、时任上海市委副书记暨政法委书记尹弘、时任市委市政府副秘书长赵奇和上海市司法局党委书记及局长陆卫东等领导同志莅临进博会现场视察和慰问，令人暖意融融。
在首届进博会咨询台上相识的欧洲著名婴童用品跨国企业对金茂凯德律师耐心的解答和热诚的帮助印象深刻，第二届进博会后，双方开启了法律服务合作之旅。
第三届进博会上，国内首屈一指的大型食品集团与丹麦、西班牙、阿根廷和意大利等外国知名企业达成总额24亿元的国际进口贸易合作协议，李志强受邀现场见证协议签署。促进交易成功，推动国际贸易，法律服务专业人士大有作为。
第四届进博会上，上海国际服务贸易示范项目和示范基地授牌仪式举行，金茂凯德律所面向“一带一路”赴海外投融资法务信息综合系列培训平台入选上海国际服务贸易示范项目，也是本次授牌机构中唯一一家律师机构。
第五届、第六届和第七届进博会，服务对接继续进行，服务贸易与日俱增。
中国入世20多年来，中国经济总量从世界第六位上升到第二位，货物贸易从世界第六位上升至第一位，服务贸易从世界第十一位跃升到第二位，利用外资稳居发展中国家首位，对外直接投资从世界第二十六位上升到第一位。
七届进博会，开放成主题

1990年起执业的资深律师沈琴主任表示，正如李强总理在第七届进博会开幕式主旨演讲所说的，如果说首届进博会是中国向世界发出的单向邀约，之后的每一届便是中国和世界双向奔赴的共同约定。进博会已经成为中国构建新发展格局的窗口、推动高水平开放的平台和全球共享的国际公共产品。

Jin Mao Partners Attended the CIIE for Seven Years
The 7th China International Import Expo, which attracted worldwide attention, opened in Shanghai on November 5, 2024.
Since the first CIIE was held in 2018, lawyers such as Mr. Li Zhiqiang(Jack Li), the 30th President of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and founding partner of Jin Mao Partners, have been selected as the volunteer legal services team of the Shanghai Bar Association for the Expo, and have participated in the legal service guarantee work of the Expo for seven consecutive years.
On November 6, 2024, lawyer Li Zhiqiang walked into the Expo for the seventh time. The blue sky, the familiar and warm scene, the endless flow of people and the enthusiasm of multi-language interweaving made people linger around. Mr. Zhu Zhongming and other city leaders who came to the Expo shook hands with Li Zhiqiang cordially, which was memorable.
Seven Years of Growth for Endless Service
From November 5 to 10, 2018, the first China International Import Expo, which attracted worldwide attention, was held in Shanghai. As the closing work of Chinese four diplomacy in that year, the open, innovative and inclusive Expo attracted the attention of well-known enterprises from five continents.
In his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo, President Xi Jinping made it clear at the very beginning that the China International Import Expo is the first international exhibition with import as its theme in the world so far, and it is a great initiative in the history of international trade development. Holding the China International Import Expo is a major decision made by China with a view to promoting a new round of high-level opening-up and a major initiative for China to open its market to the world. This reflects Chinese consistent position of supporting the multilateral trading system and promoting the development of free trade, and is China's practical action to promote the construction of an open world economy and support economic globalization.
At the first China International Import Expo, President Xi announced that a new area of Shanghai Free Trade Zone will be set up; the STAR market will be set up in the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the registration system will be piloted; and the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta will be supported and upgraded to a national strategy. Benefiting from the China International Import Expo, Jin Mao Partners was the first to open a branch office in the same city in the Lingang New Area, providing support for a number of science and technology enterprises to be listed on the STAR market, participating in the rule of law practice of the integration construction of the Yangtze River Delta, and helping the first financial rule of law forum in the Yangtze River Delta to be successfully held. A number of theoretical and practical achievements of the rule of law were published, which were praised by all sides.
Lawyer Li Jian(Scott Li), Director of Jin Mao Partners (Lin Gang), is the first mainland lawyer to serve as an official of a major international lawyer organization in charge of publishing and publicity affairs since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Since taking office in April 2024, he has deeply felt that the increasing opening-up in China has opened a more open window and door for the exchange and mutual learning of the rule of law civilization between China and foreign countries, and that Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, which coordinates the rule of law at home and abroad, is a powerful tool for foreign legal workers on the way to mature.
Memory of Seven-year Way with the Rule of Law
Since the first CIIE was held, Lawyers of Li Zhiqiang, Shen Qin, Ou Long, You Guang,Yang Zi’an etc. of Jin Mao Partners have been busy inside and outside the Expo, held talks and seminars, made friends with businessmen from five continents, and disseminated Chinese laws. Release the positive energy of Chinese lawyers to serve the opening up economy and the development of the Belt and Road.
During the second China International Import Expo, Jin Mao Partners was invited to attend the 2019 Shanghai City Promotion Conference. Mr. Li Qiang, then Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Mr. Ying Yong, then Mayor of Shanghai, personally introduced Shanghai. Mr. Li Qiang also had a cordial conversation with Li Zhiqiang. Liu Zhenyu, then Vice Minister of the Ministry of Justice, Yin Hong, then Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, Zhao Qi, then Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and Lu Weidong, Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of the Justice of Shanghai, visited the Expo for inspection and condolences, which made people feel warm.
At the first China International Import Expo, the famous European baby products multinational enterprises met at the information desk were deeply impressed by the patient answers and enthusiastic help of the lawyer of Jin Mao Partners. After the second China International Import Expo, the two parties started a journey of legal service cooperation.
At the third China International Import Expo, the leading domestic food group reached an international import trade cooperation agreement with well-known foreign enterprises such as Denmark, Spain, Argentina and Italy, totaling RMB 2.4 billion yuan. Li Zhiqiang was invited to witness the signing of the agreement. To promote the success of transactions and promote international trade, legal professionals have made great achievements.
At the fourth China International Import Expo, the awarding ceremony of Shanghai International Service Trade Demonstration Project and Demonstration Base was held. Jin Mao Partners was selected as the Shanghai International Service Trade Demonstration Project for the Belt and Road overseas investment and financing legal information comprehensive series training platform, and it is also the only lawyer institution in this licensing institution.
Services continued and trade in service improved for the fifth, sixth and seventh Expo.
Over the past 20 years since Chinese accession to the WTO, Chinese total economic output has risen from the sixth to the second place in the world, the trade volume in goods has risen from the sixth to the first place in the world, the trade in services has jumped from the 11th to the second place in the World, its utilization of foreign capital has steadily ranked first among developing countries, and its foreign direct investment has risen from 26th to the first place.
Opening up has become the Theme of the Seventh CIIE

Director Shen Qin, a senior lawyer who has been practicing since 1990, said that as Premier Li Qiang said in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 7th China International Import Expo, if the first China International Import Expo is a one-way invitation from China to the world, each subsequent one is a common agreement between China and the world. The Expo has become a window for China to build a new development pattern, a platform for promoting high-level openness and an international public product for global sharing.
Zhang Yongmei and other lawyers, who are qualified to practice in China, the United States and other countries, said that China and the United States are partners, and mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation should be the main trend of the economic, trade and legal cooperation between the two countries. Our foreign legal workers should make more contributions to promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries.
When hundreds of ships compete with each other, those who work hard will be the first; when thousands of sails compete, those who advance bravely will win. Let's look forward to China International Import Expo year after year!
